It has taken over 1 year to sort out a very basic insurance claim were the other driver admitted fault , this has caused me 100s in no claims , they keep saying it will be sorted shortly and they are waiting for the cheque and will phone me back the next day which they never do . Please take my advise and go to a reputable company

The lady I spoke to who gave the legal advise around home insurance policy was fine. She was informative, competent and understood every query I asked to the best of her remit. However, the original girl at reception I spoke to was completely the opposite. She was rude, incompetent and lacked clear direction in terms of her communication. It wasnt clear that I was only through to reception who of course do not have the skillset to advise on legal matters in regards to insurance (I was transferred directly from Admiral and did not dial these solicitors directly). When this became apparent she spoke to me in a condescending tone explaining everyone else was on the phone at the moment. I asked what type of legal matters are covered with home insurance, again she spoke to me in a very condescending tone as if I am beneath her. Had this been explained at the beginning of the call then I wouldnt have expected such information to start with. What kind of receptions are you hiring?! This firm clearly needs to enforce basic manners and client services!!

My sincere thanks to Uneesa Alyas at Lyons Davidson for assisting me in obtaining damages to myself and my property after a serious non-fault car crash.
