Robyn Eamer and Laura Roberts dealt with our house sale and purchase and were brilliant throughout. Knowledgeable and professional, they were very proactive in providing updates and quick to reply to any questions and queries that we had. We would definitely recommend Barcan + Kirby and will almost certainly use if we decide to move in the future.

Update 2 weeks on: I have had nothing that suggests the office in Bedminster or company as a whole has actually looked into the incident at the front desk Bedminster office or enough. Simply taken what their 2 staff said maybe, their two staff at the front desk, & might say I was to blame..?? I have told them that I am very willing to chat the happening through though. I was not to blame!. And that I only want to be helpful too, & as also I have had a highly positive experience in their Queen Square office enquiry front desk and think them to be a very good firm. And one wants to know! of good firms. From my experience I conclude that the front desk staff or one or more at Bedminster might do as they like towards you if you go into their office North Street & you be nastily frustrated in your time of need to not find the sort of help that you need. That you will be dealt with distressingly, as I am sure enough I was. When one is truly in distress and in a corner in life front desk staff, of course at times will get folk who they need to be firm with, but being a caring and careful type is foremost also surely. Initial review in fact down graded to 1 star, at the moment, as I think this was a mere words and no actions in fact taken or will be, response, from whoever in the office or firm, - no evidence 2 weeks plus on to assure enough. I am truly surprised or very so, in this from them & now Top 500 Listed legal firm now too. I have said that I can go and chat it through with them? No reply to that. I think they have wanted to do nothing about it, if they can, and no change or commitment to do better in such in how they do business. - Which I or another could check up on some time ahead. ? DM ...I still hope for better though as I am sure(!) I am due, after what happened to me here, at Barcan and K Bedminster North St office. Otherwise I think I have true grounds for warning you about how you, in a time of personal distress could likely be dealt with, and by admin or front of house desk staff who are first point of contact. You will see that I very rarely post negative reviews, but as this was such a distressing incident on me, I believe this needs a full proper, - evidence-known, seen clearly so, and calling me to chat, talk it through with me by a senior person also, one might think-, response. And that the business truly thinks very seriously about such & keeps an eye out for. I will hope on in this, for a full and clearly seen, properly! respectful, & full response, as should be in this now. -? Initial review was : I will hope for better. I went in here being faced with having to vacate where I live having nowhere else to go to within 8 weeks of asudden Notice last Saturday came. The young lady at the desk dressed in sombre colours wanted to be boss it seemed and dealt with my distressed state very nastily I believe. Young folk given the position of power who can filter out customers, - when they have no such knowledge enough and then say as she did ! and then later claimed she had not been I went back in and was going to say how horrid I thought that was and goodness me where can I go for help !!' in such a situation . She wanted to know that it was merely a Contentious Will matter and judged it so. I hardly think she should have been denying my friends who see the crimes I have faced in the situation . As I think this company to be a very good one and I had a very different superb experience at Queen Square from the older Bristolian lady on the desk there when called in for another issue. And solicitor Mr Parker AND his young colleague dealt with me exemplary properly kind true way. This young lady and her young lady colleague kindly will be held to task if they do not deal more truly and so heartlessy with folk in real fright of eviction and threats etc on him her coming, distress, times coming. They need to learn from this experience and get a better grip, I am sure . And hope to up this to a 5 star review asap.
