The bad reviews are real. Deans Court is managed by the least caring staffs. When there is any hardware failure (e.g. no electricity for multiple flats) or belongings stolen (burglary), the staffs blame students for being careless and this is the only reaction from them. No other action is taken to solve the problems.

Do not rent from these scam artists at all costs. They have scammed us out of money and time and made us move from flat to flat repeatedly due to the state of disrepair, leaking, and mould, with no compensation. Save yourself before its too late

Staying at Dean's Court, Bristol is the worst decision of being in a paid university accommodation. The security here is a joke. The key cards won't work and anyone can enter the accommodation premises since the main door wouldn't function often. You can witness the students' parcels getting stolen. Frequent power outages which wouldn't be fixed sooner which leads to students being deprived of electricity for hours without internet, lights, usage of stoves. On top of all this, the property management is awful. They couldn't care less about all these and the most ridiculous fact is that the students living here get blamed for the security and power outages stating these things happen due to bad handling of electricity as well as the gate. I'd never recommend this accommodation for anyone in the future.

Boiler stops working before Christmas and their response was grin and bear it until they return to office after the holidays. Would advise against using this company to any potential future renters.

They were entirely unresponsive to repair works that were needed (problems with the window, leakage, toilet) for the duration of my contract, and whenever I called to discuss the issues, their response was "please send a complaint form". It really annoyed me, and would never EVER want to rent their property again.
