I arranged for HomeGleamers to come and do a deep clean of my new house before I moved in - it had been in the diary for weeks and I had spoken at length to Nisha about what I wanted to be done (floors washed, hoovered, cupboards cleaned internally and outside, oven, skirting boards, the lot.) I wanted to go in feeling like it was spotless and that is what was agreed would happen. Firstly I had to pay a 50 upfront as an 'agency fee' - which in hindsight is extortionate - that's before any cleaning happened. When I arrived in my new house, the cleaner was waiting for me to return my keys to me. When I arrived she was chatting to someone on facetime, with all of her cleaning kit not with her (already packed up in the car). When I arrived I think she might have been there between 2 and 2.5 hours but clearly had packed up long before I arrived. When inspected what was done - nothing that had been agreed had been apart from a clean hob. I brushed my hand inside the cupboards and they were still filthy (see photos), the loos didn't smell of bleach, there were cobwebs still around. Apparently I owed 60... on top of the 50 agency fee already paid. Essentially I was being asked for 90 for a hob clean. I agreed to pay 40 but upon sleeping on it, became even more frustrated at the cost of this and the lack of cleaning done. We had arranged for the job to be redone but the communication was very inconsistent thereafter and after chasing to find out when this new date would be, I only heard the day before but was just too last minute for my liking. Only positive experience was that Nisha went to great length to help organise the key pick up, as I had completed that day so she went to collect the keys for me from the estate agents whilst I was at work. For the cleaning however, I wouldn't recommend. Services: Deep clean, Standard cleaning
