    AWFUL!!!! Worst hairdressers I've ever been to! Ruined my hair and awful service When I walked in I was slightly apprehensive to have my hair done a client was politely complaining that they had made a mistake with her hair. I sat down and told the girl I didn't want to change the colour much, just slightly lighten up the roots; she called another woman over ( I assume is the owner/manager) and they advised me that I shouldn't put 2 colours, bleach would be enough. I hesitantly agreed, but distinctly stated that I wanted to keep my natural colour but to just lift it slightly. I noticed the highlights that my hair dresser was putting in my hair looked packed in, but I just assumed she was doing them thin, after all I am not a hair dresser!! As she was doing so I noticed more people being unhappy with their hair, being done by a girl who was clenching at her jaw and running off to be sick. My 'hairdresser' took 2 hours to put the foils in, so by the time she had finished, I was aware that the ones at the back had been on a long time. After about 10 minutes I approached her to ask if she thought they were ok as they had been on for over 2 hours now- she looked to the owner/manager for an answer. She took them off and washed my hair and when we sat down to wait for the other girl (who was being sick and clearly hungover) to cut my hair. To put this off I asked her to dry it first. I immediately told her I thought the colour was way too bright (and also orange). I tried to be diplomatic and polite but explained that this was not what I wanted at all, which is when the owner/manager involved herself. I told them I was very unhappy as it wasn't only bright, I had a line where my roots where next to the bleach which was completely Jaggered. The lady became quite agressive and told me 'well these girls are learning, they pack their highlights in, I don't, that's the difference with me and them' when I mentioned that no one had left happy today she then went on to say 'it's not my fault I am having to correct everyone's mistakes today and what else would you expect if you go for a cheap deal' I told her I wasn't happy to pay for this, so she said they wouldn't correct it. By this point I was petrified to let them touch my hair again to 'correct' it anyway. I stepped outside as the lady had become quite verbally aggressive. She told me if I left without paying they would call the police, because even though I didn't like it, I got what I asked for. This was NOT what I asked for. I went back in to say I would pay something but expect it to be discounted. She told me she had sent the girl home for being hungover and that I could pay 10. I did this. I have never received such bad service! I went to a different hairdresser and payed 95 to get it fixed. The hair dresser there told me she had never seen such a mess of highlights! Take my advice and go somwhere else!

    Do not buy a groupon deal for this hairdresser!! Very misleading and unclear on groupon, offer states highlights but hidden in the small print is a very specific statement saying it has to be bleach. When the appointment was booked this was not made clear and then on arrival the salon were very unhelpful and rude and refused to give money back. Ended up with a 23 cut yet paid 35 in groupon. Seems like this is a very common problem yet they dont make it more clear on groupon!

    I been going to this salon for over a year now , when I first started going my hair was in such bad condition i just wore it up, I have had several different colours put on my hair, but I completely trust Lisa and sara and listen to what they recommend! I really wouldn't go any where else now...they are completely professional and extremely welcoming. See you soon ladies xxx

    What a horrific salon. I was having a look on Groupon and found a highlight offer for Unique hair and beauty so I thought I would treat myself. I rang up to check their availability and was told to not book through Groupon, but to just pay them the cash instead, I assume so that they don't have to pay any money to Groupon. But anyway, two weeks later, I drive for 40 minutes through traffic to get to my appointment. I arrive and get seated before being told that the highlights will be bleach. 'But I don't want bleach in my hair' I protested. 'But that's what the Groupon offer is' was the reply. (I haven't even booked through Groupon because they told me not to but I was definitely not told about this bleach situation over the phone when I made the appointment) . 'Does she want anything else?' another hairdresser queries to hairdresser number one. I've always thought it was rude to refer to someone as 'she' in front of them. She therefore took herself out and drove the 40 minutes home. Cheers for that hour and a half of my life I'll never get back 'Unique' hair and beauty. The constellation I guess is that I don't have stripes of bleach through my hair

    Would just like to say that group on Vouchers is just to get the customers to come in and have a great result to there hair and if liked they comes back it states for highlights BLEACH only we are very. Professional in what work we do if clients buys theses vouchers with out reading the prints it's not the salons nor the stylist fought. We've had many clients come in and bleach is not what they've wanted and was happy to get there money back from groupon and pay us for what they wanted to which we only wanna give our clients 100% so I would like to say to Amandine Coates who gave us a very poor rating PLEASE read the Voucher before you buy and it's not the stylist fought that you didn't do so. We also then gives you our price for what you wants and if you don't wanna pay that price then surly there's no need to write a bad review for something we havnt done. We have great reviews and are very professional in what we do...
