After playing for a while, being thoroughly besotted by the guitar but losing my way with lessons and fearing theory I reached out to Chris in a moment of need. I can hand on heart say he's the best teacher I've come across in my many moons of being a student. Bringing the guitar to life again, igniting my passion to pick up and learn and even broach theory again....this is a dark art I'm sure. A great guy, with a wonderful way; he's a great player, tutor and a top bloke. Has put me back at ease with the guitar again. I could not recommend him enough, only wish I could have started my journey with him sooner. Brilliant. To update the review- with the challenges of Covid hitting I was equally anxious to its impact on my lessons and it hindering my progress...not something I could have coped with let alone the chaos the c word is having in all our lives in one way or another. Chris has been fantastic, undaunted by mobilising (within a week of it hitting!) to provide easily accessible lessons online- having some 'normal' guitar time weekly has done wonders for me, as well as my playing and simply cant thank him enough.

Chris has taught me from scratch the very basics of the guitar, the physical attributes, to playing Eric Clapton lead Guitar from 'Wonderful Tonight' and a lot in between. His musical knowledge is bang up to date and second to none historically. Extremely helpful, patient and an ease of Teaching that has given me belief in an instrument I never thought I could play.

Chris is a fantastic tutor, blows my mind how knowledgeable he is. Ive learnt more in the last 2 years than I ever have in the 15 years Ive been playing.
