Martin is a great teacher! From the start he understands your objectives and tailors lessons to suit - I wanted to learn how to play finger style and after only a few lessons and Martins advice Ive made loads of progress. All the more impressive as with lockdown these lessons have all been online! To keeps things interesting Martin also set an optional group project - all students could contribute to an online band video. Would really recommend!

Ive struggled to get off the ground with guitar for many years - trying for a while then giving up for a year or two - never quite getting far enough to enjoy it - (Im 50 and started trying 30 yrs ago!) Martin has broken that barrier and has explained things Really clearly that I couldnt grasp before. Im now enjoying it and understanding the fret board . Great tuition. Cheers Martin.

I started guitar lessons with Martin about 18 months ago to prepare for my first ever performance on my 65th birthday last summer. Following that my brother in law and a friend both asked me to play bass for their bands for performances this summer so I have also been taking bass lessons from him. He is excellent at all aspects from practical playing tips to music theory and I have learned a lot from him and continue to really enjoy the lessons.
