Nurology surgeons literally saved my life. The nursing team on ward 6B were amazing and got me back on my feet, couldn't fault any aspect of my care

I was attended so quickly! From reception to the end. Even if my symptoms were mild and I was worried they would send me home, they were so considerate that they did all the relevant tests to find out my health status. I really appreciate that, made me feel relieved and reassured. Feeling they respect and care about their patients. Thank you! Keep it up!

The best hospital I have been too. Not that I go to loads but the care from all the nurses and the doctor that day were 5*. Very friendly! Keep up the good work!

You hear a lot of scare stories about how bad the NHS is getting but I have nothing but praise for the staff at Southmead. I had to go into A&E via ambulance on the early hours of Saturday morning, the Paramedics were excellent and I was looked at fairly quickly by a doctor once I got to A&E and was admitted overnight. The staff in ward were brilliant and friendly, I had a TV to watch and contrary to belief the hospital food was really nice. The only downside was that there was another patient in my ward who was being demanding and abusive towards the staff but they manage to handle it appropriately. I was discharged in the evening having spent a day on the ward but would not worry about being admitted again if I have another medical issue. 10/10.
