Vinegar Hill

I love this shop,it's the best little shop for gifts, quirky cushions,pottery and glassware, and alsorts of lovely things on the triangle in Clifton. Sadly it's closing down so they have a sale on.Lots of people are going to miss this lovely shop and customer service I've always found to be very helpful.

Wish I could give it zero stars for their customer service. Beautiful store with very nice furniture. Its a shame the worker is not as nice as the store. We are black visitors from London who only came to visit, but unfortunately we were watched by the lady the whole time. When I paid with my contactless card and began to walk out of the store she stopped me and told me to wait until it goes through. Im honestly appalled by her behaviour and I hope other black customers do not experience this shocking racism. Hi Richard, Thank you for your response. It was Vinegar Hill in Bristol: 46 Queen's Road Clifton Bristol BS8 1RE England. The lady followed us around the whole store. There is a difference between being aware of customer movements and following a customer around. Had she asked would you like any help? It would not have been a problem. However, it felt as if she was CCTV. I understand that it takes a while for card payments to go through, but I tapped my phone onto the card reader and waited. Then, I turned to start walking. I probably made only one or two steps until she halted me and told me to wait until it goes through. If she said sorry it takes a while I would not have minded, but her tone was hasty and rude and led me to write this review.
