Farrows

Secondary cooked chips, tasted stale, mushy peas more like pea soup, fish not bad but very small, poor pensioners not allowed to eat cheaper on Fridays, anything to make more money. Very disappointed.

Honest mistake in that we got home and some food was missing. Called up and the chap on the phone dealt like a pro. Very apologetic and offered to throw in some free food. I called back and said I was coming to collect. The person I dealt with on arrival was pretty rude about the whole thing. Quite a weird attitude considering it was their fault. Can't really recommend the experience; Shame as the food was decent.

tasty chippy in Totterdown in very convenient location. Id heard it was the best in Bristol, its up there but was slightly expensive (presume prices have gone up due to cost of living?). The portion sizes are good but our plastic forks broke very quickly and you have to pay for sauces (60p) which is a shame!

First time we have had chips from Farrows and they were fantastic. Four very happy people. The reviews were spot on. Paul, Kathy, Jean and James.
