A.P.E Fire & Security recently worked with us to install an upgrade to our fire alarm system. After getting several quotes - their quote was by far the best valued and the service delivered was exceptional. The project was completed very quickly and professionally and the team tidied up any mess that was created from drilling to set up cabling and the detection system upgrade. I would wholeheartedly advise and recommend anyone to speak to A.P.E for all of your Fire & Security needs!

I'm baffled by the positive reviews for A.P.E. We had our system installed by them 20 years ago, and serviced yearly. All well and good. Then a few years ago received a letter from them saying the man who'd been servicing our alarm shouldn't have been as he'd been fired some time back, which was creepy. I was told on the phone a yearly service wasn't necessary anyway. Then just before christmas, our alarm started making noises we couldn't stop. The pad was unresponsive and the alarm getting louder and louder. I phoned A.P.E to ask if they could please send someone round to stop the noise, but NO, they had absolutely no one who could come, nor would they let any of their 'engineers' tell me how to stop the alarm. Even disconnecting the battery didn't stop it. After about 2 hours, it stopped by itself. Then, to add insult, I discovered their phone number is a premium rate one, so just calling them had cost me over 20!
