AVOID, unless you want to have broken doors a few years down the line with a company that doesn't honour its guarantees. We bought bifold doors from Bristol Bifold in autumn 2016 with a 10-year warranty. Four years later, they started sagging at the hinges, dragging on the ground, and letting in cold air. No problem we thought, we have a warranty. We contacted Bristol Bifold but they told us the warranty was no longer valid. This is because Bristol Bifold has been bought by another company (Crystal Clear) that has 'purchased its brand but not its liabilities'. So although the business still trades off its past reputation and reviews, all the guarantees to customers have been quietly junked. I'm not sure how this is even legal! Anyway, we are now having to jump through admin hoops with industry insurers to get them fixed. What is most likely a simple fix is taking months. Bristol Bifold are totally uninterested, having taken the s off us. What I think is most revealing, though, that they seem to have no interest in finding out might be the problem with their work. Avoid!

Nov 2018: You get what you pay for and Bristol Bifold provide a premium product at a premium price. All comms have been brilliant and the fitters were efficient, knowledgeable and professional. May 2019: Turns out there was a fitting issue that I've spent the last 4 months trying to get rectified. Spoken to Origin (manufacturers of the windows) and they've confirmed that Bristol Bifold is no longer trading.
