I happily waited 3 months from my initial enquiry to repair my old front door - I was looking for a professional with excellent carpentry experience, knowledge and expertise. Tim took time and care to repair the door, provide additional advice, whilst listening to calming classical music. A very refreshing change, proving that Content ultimately trumps Marketing. Tim has done a great job refurbishing our 1920s pine front door. It was cracked, had been cut too small for the frame and was hung at an angle. He glued and clamped it tight, carefully fitted a new piece of matched pine to fill the crack, replaced damaged mouldings and added new strips at the top and edge. After rehanging the door it fits with an even 2mm gap all round and no more drafts! as an engineer at Rolls-Royce, I was impressed with the tight tolerances and excellent fit - a quality piece of work. Tim is a lovely guy and was always ready to explain what he was doing. He gave plenty of advice as to how to treat and look after the door, so it lasts another 100 years. He also made friends with our Labrador Monty - top guy.

Highly recommend! Tim and Chris restored our door beautifully. Before Tim started, the door was poorly fitted and let in a lot of draft and you could see daylight through it. The improvement is incredible, it's like a brand new door. Not only that, but the original 1920s letter box was broken, however, Tim managed to get some metal work done through a contact and then polished it up to its beautiful original state. Chris very patiently gave the door a brand new coat of paint. We're now enjoying lots of compliments from our neighbours, thank you Chris and Tim! Olivia

Problems with a badly hung 1930's front door letting in drafts in winter. Found this company online and although based in Bristol kindly came all the way to Weston-super-Mare to help/repair. Tim was brilliant, and listened to our concerns with the door and came up with the best solution. It is the original door, and so glad I choose to contact Tim to give it the tlc it deserves.

Tim and Chris did a fantastic job repairing, rehanging and redecorating my very tired Victorian front door. A lot of care was taken to get the door fitting just right into the frame, to minimise drafts and also work with a new internal floor level. They were both very easy to work with, super friendly and kind and considerate with my young family. Would highly recommend.
