Christchurch Family Medical Practice

Had to wait for over 1 hour ,to be told ,even though I re ordered a prescription 2 weeks ago nothing had been done, re ordered and was told a doctor will phone me back next Tuesday I have joined this practice because Leap Valley surgery were so slow, I think this is a mistake on my part because this practice is far worse

Unable to get through on the phone busy all the time only way to get anything done is to go to the clinic and talk to the almighty receptionist . Best of luck or

Called 177 times this morning to get an appointment. Couldn't get through as every time the line was busy. More staff and telephone lines needed at Downend Health Group please.

Initially I felt a bit disappointed but I think that the reception staff do their best, however, they could do with more phone lines. I usually speak to Dr Tan and have found her to be efficient and reliable. I recently had a shoulder problem. I spoke to her on the Thursday and was booked in for a steroid injection on the Monday with Dr Green e. A very charming and friendly doctor. I rate them highly.

I've been a patient of Willows for over 40 years, which has now merged and become one half of Downend Health group with Christchurch Medical Practice. Today I needed an emergency appointment. As instructed, I called bang on 8am, I got an engaged tone for 6 minutes, then I joined the waiting line in position 6, 10 minutes later I had a same day appointment, with a female Dr as requested all before lunchtime. Both the receptionist and the Dr that I later went to see were lovely and I'm very pleased to be a member of DHG.
