Saw Dr Ree about my knee a few years ago. It kept locking and was getting painful to say the least. After a short consultation I was told 'to get on with it' as he himself had sore knees when he went walking!!? I didn't accept this at all so went and saw a physio (at my cost) who on one look said I needed to see a specialist. A few weeks later my knee completely locked and it turned out that an old injury had been causing havoc over the years.....one week later I had a new AC ligament and have 50% of my meniscus cartilage removed. Glad I just got on with it!
