At the beginning of March 2020, FRP were brought into the business I worked for with the aim to position and achieve a sale of the business whilst also aiming to safeguard jobs. The administration process was an unknow scenario for everyone and whilst we were faced with contending with the sad loss of 25 people on day 1, FRP acted with genuine empathy and desire to sell the business and save further job losses. They supported an incredible team under incredible circumstances; the team delivered. A part sale of the business was achieved and circa 40 jobs were saved at the end of May. But for COVID, other colleagues who sadly left could well have been retained as a full business sale was likely to have been achieved through the numerous interested parties interested pre-COVID. Although I was confirmed as redundant, the approach FRP took and the support they provided, which wasnt always visible given the extremities of the position we all found ourselves in, they operated with fairness and the highest of integrity across all levels of the business.
