    Treatment room staff are friendly and competent. Reception staff are the complete opposite. The Practice Manager is particularly obnoxious. I cannot say anything about the GP's as I have never been able to obtain an appointment, despite having complained to NHS England (my complaint was partially upheld).

    The system is broken ,and not fit for purpose. What changed it was working before Covid. Now virtually impossible to get through to make an appointment , Only to be told all gone ring again and again etc starting at 8.30 am tomorrow.

    Useless health centre. Three years ago I had an infection and in severe pain. Was asked what do you want me to do? by a doctorif I didnt go private my infection wouldve spread. Fast forwardthese people have no mental health training. Useless.

    Today I had a cervical examination. The GP that examined me was THE BEST, most patient, understanding GP of all I've had. Second best after my first one in Fishponds. This woman really loves her job , the support she gave me was unbelievable. Not to mention. I got my appointment time wrong with 10 minute difference. The receptionist was fast enough to check me in and notify the GP for it . They could have sent me back home. They didn't. I'd also like to mention that when I requested an ultrasound, they acted within a month . THATS FASTER than any other GP surgery in Bristol. In Kingswood I waited 6 months for an ultrasound without a notification ,until I moved here. Got cancelled and rebooked. I don't get why the reviews are so bad,but I'm the happiest I've ever been with Whitchurch health centre !

    I found a breast mark that had changed. The receptionist told me no appointments, if I went in tomorrow at 8.30 I should be able to get an appointment which is fine. What shocked me was the receptionist told me in wasnt urgent, how can that comment be made by a receptionist. And then suggest i went private. I was a receptionist for 33 years and just recently retired. Not very impressed, I total understand the day to day challenges the reception team have to deal with and have every sympathy.
