the education is up there as far as other schools in the area and its in good surroundings. unfortunately I left the school and I know numerous other parents have done the same as we had concerns over our childs safety and the headteachers lack of listening along with senior members of staff they were awful to parents the governors sided with the head and became a very negative place

As a parent of three children who have attended the school and one who still attends (nearly 15 years of driving too and from there), I have nothing but praise for it. It is a small school, but they fill all the spaces with fun things for the children. The staff are both approachable and friendly, who are always available for discussions and offer help when needed, even when personal issues arise, they really do go out of their way to support both the children and parents. During lockdown they have been amazing!!! They had structured days ready for the children so they had some sort of routine during these confusing times, which I know some other schools in Bristol didn't have. The education they have received has been great, I have two children who have dyslexia and they pulled all the stops out to help them in every way they could, when my children left primary to go to secondary school not only was the handover from the two schools great, but my children left feeling confident and they had a strong understanding of what was needed to help them so they could ask when they started 'big' school. I leave my child at the school gates every morning happy and I know that they are in a safe, kind, fun and caring place, which is all I've ever asked for as a parent.

This is a Catholic primary with a multinational intake. It is not unusual to have 8 or more nationalities in a classroom or hear Spanish and French spoken in & out of school. In the past this was one of the best primaries in Bristol with keen parents who were very involved in the school life and made to feel a part of this vibrant school family (it used to feel like one big international family). However the school has been changing fast under new leadership. It still has in majority a fantastic and dedicated pool of teachers delivering high quality lessons but it no longer feels like the school family it used to feel like. Parents are no longer welcomed as before to take such an active role in the school life and there are many new rules being implemented that are aimed at keeping them away. As a result the trust between school and parents has sadly been dwindling since September 2014. If I had to chose now, I would not send my children to this school. But a school like SS Peter&Paul used to be, is almost impossible to fine in a city these days.
