Long wait to get served. Then I was served a pint of Stella in a cider glass. Beer was flat.

Food and staff are great, my only thing is the dirt you can feel on the bottom side of the plates, this needs to change other than that its perfect

We've been here a few times now. Conveniently within 5 minutes walk of Aldi (after shopping) and a local park. An attractive building with pleasant staff. The food is slightly above standard for your average pub/restaurant chain. The carvery, while limited in range compared to some nearby (driveable) competition, is arguably tastier and 'non-watery'. A variety of seating areas and family space, allows all ages to enjoy their visit. There's two car parks, the one closest the bridge is much smaller. The local area is worth a quick stroll although there's a general lack of pavement if you do. There are a couple of bus routes nearby but be careful which direction the bus is headed.
