After searching through car after car that was being sold before I had the chance to look at it or ones with sketchy service histories I stumbled upon C&S Car Haus. They don't have hundreds of cars to choose from but a good enough range whatever your budget is. They were very honest and open about the condition of the car that I bought, the history was immaculate and the car was largely well looked after aside from the bodywork, which was clearly illustrated in the pictures, description and was a large part in the price and why I was willing to take a chance on the car.
I visited late on a Thursday evening and was able to test drive the car. As I was didn't want to go any longer without a car and it was better than I expected so I put a deposit down immediately. The guys were very friendly and even turned down someone else who was interested in the car as I'd already committed to buying it. I returned the next day (17th September 2021) and purchased the car.
Overall it was a very easy transaction, especially during a stressful time, they were friendly and welcoming, despite being busy. The car was very clean on the inside and had plenty of receipts and service stamps from the previous owner. They even provided me with 3 months warranty.
About a month after buying the car, I had an engine warning light appear on my dash. I was unable to drive the car other than to my local garage who were able to diagnose and repair the issue. I contacted C&S and informed them of what happened and if my warranty covered it. They said it did and after sending them the invoice of the work taken out, they reimbursed me 100% of the costs, which I was very happy with. Not often a business will go above and beyond, especially after you've made the purchase.
These guys have earned themselves a good reputation and I recommend them if you ever need a car.
