Food is nice but the staff are rude, no good morning or thanks from them which lets the place down. Been there twice now and it was the same both times thats why we wont be returning.

This is based on a full english breakfast. The customer service from the staff member was great 10/10, as for the food I found the mini roasted potatoes were still hard in the middle, the egg was like rubber with a hard yolk, the bacon definately couldve been cooked for longer and I've heard of fried bread but burnt bread is something else above all the the older woman that was in charge had a really nasty attitude against the staff member that was on duty to an extent that the staff member actually cried, all of this was clearing heard by all customers trying to eat their food . I find this to be an appalling way to work being bullied and manipulated in front of customers, as a manager or owner of the cafe you should be disgusted and dissapointed with your behaviour towards your staff. All I can say is shame on you

Friendly classic British cafe. Had the jacket potato with chilli and cheese and it was LOADED Had a little wait for the cup of tea and the server got a bit mixed up with drinks but she was friendly. Seemed popular, as all tables filled and a few regulars in there. 7 for this dish which I thought was good for the amount of food! Bottom of the potato was a bit hard but not a bother as it's easily done, I'm used to my own jackets doing that at home! The fry ups other people were having looked good too.
