The Upstairs Cafe

Just pop in on the of chance for something to eat after driving down from Scotland. It was nice breakfast plenty on the plate good value for the money and one of the best cups of tea had in a long time. A big thank you we will be using it again in the future. Many thanks Martin

Love this place so friendly and warm welcome and nice food and I love the play area as well I also think you need a Facebook page as it would help Kid-friendliness: Really nice place for kids to play and a lot of toy but could have more room

Have been coming here on and off for years and always been superb, unfortunately this time was not great. Quite dirty all round, kids high chairs were filthy and covered with old food. no black pudding with large breakfast (cost extra) sharp screw poking out of cabinet in kids play area, when I pointed this out I was told it had been like that for ages and they needed to sort it out!!! Also random sticker floating at bottom of tea. Breakfast average and not great value for 8.50. So sad as this place was amazing. (Didnt mention dirty cutlery that I cleaned myself)

Had a decent full English breakfast. The prices are very reasonable and best of all they are dog friendly

Excellent all day breakfast not suitable for anyone who is physically impaired due to the stairs
