Worst builder's merchants I've ever been in although our company had already phoned through an order the staff seemed to have no idea what they were looking for it was only a couple of doors and some door stop and beading but there seemed to be a lack of communication as we asked 2 or 3 staff about it and they had no idea. In the loaded up the doors ourselves and didn't bother with the other bits. Won't be going back there in a hurry.

Day to Day shopping is fine, but ive had nothing but issues with their deliveries. Depsite ordering weeks in advance, i had to chase numerous times through the day to find out where the delivery was, each time being told a time window. Final phone call at 6.30pm to be told that the delivery driver had ran out of time. Any competent Transport Manager looking at a workload should be able to tell if their driver will make it or not, and if they arent going to make it then at least have the professionalism (you may expect from a national company) to at least keep their customers informed. But clearly Selco isnt that professional as having no contact from them except when I rang to chase them. Generally really poor delivery service, this is honestly the last time im going to try using them. People stay away....Use B&Q, Travis Perkins, anyone but these if you actually want things delivered! You have been warned!!! Update: After a phone call this morning from Dpty Mgr trying to make out 'I missed the delivery', I now only have half my order. One bulk bag of sand, I was informed about, but now apparently they don't have any Type1.... But couldn't let me know earlier.....I really do dispair.
