Kondi Brasserie

We were met by a very abrupt waitress who made us sit on a table for two, which had other occupied tables located very close to either side of us. There were several other empty tables where we could have sat without invading the existing customers privacy. We did not feel any of the staff were particularly friendly, the food was very over priced, and we took a very dim view of the waitress opening the front door and allowing the cold air into the restaurant on what was a very cold wet day outside. This made most customers feel very uncomfortable. We felt it was like they were saying, we have had your money, so the quicker you leave now the better. One customer got up and closed the door, and the waitress immediately went up to the front of the shop and opened the window. For how rudely we were treated, its a wonder they had any customers at all. We will not be going back !

Lovely breakfast at Kondi this morning. I had the eggs royale with a side of mushrooms. Delicious fresh ingredients. Poached eggs cooked to perfection. Hollandaise sauce not too strong. Mushrooms beautifully seasoned with rosemary. Gluten free bread provided. The coffee is good & a lovely selection of herbal teas.
