Over the years Ive been pitched by many a car sales person but with total honesty I dont think Ive ever had a more pleasant purchase experience than that recently at Bentley Bristol. Their sales representative Mitch Galdies shared with me the plus points of the GT continental and thereafter needed to say little more to close the deal. Once he opened the car door I was sold; the quality of finish was beyond my expectation.
However, it was not any of the above that compelled me to write this review; it was the after sales service.
Every condition of the purchase was adhered to (even down to 6mm tread on each tyre). After payment had been made I half expected Mitch (or any of his colleagues) to reduce interest in me as a customer in favour of future potential clients.
Any niggles I experienced post sale were immediately addressed by Mitch and the Bentley team. All members of staff encountered were consummate Professionals.
Half jokingly during the sales negotiations I insisted that a Bentley pen be included in the deal. It was kind of a test to see if the smallest detail of the purchase was of equal importance to Bentley. Four weeks after I collected the car there was no pen even though I had returned to the dealership post sale on two separate occasions. By this tIme I had assumed that this had been conveniently forgotten, (apparently theyre not cheap). However, today I received my Bentley inscribed pen via recorded delivery without need of a reminder.
You can rely on any commitments made by Mitch Galdies and the Bentley team.
I will be back once the Gen 3 continental is more affordable
