Beautiful store and very helpful staff, highly recommend a visit, lots to see and very helpful when looking at storage solutions. Loved the home office set up too and storage to the ceiling.under stairs solutions looked amazing too.Good choice of colours and styles.

I left a review for my daughter s bedroom , which was 5* ( fitted on February 3rd)The service is brillant unless something goes wrong: My 2nd bedroom ( fitted on February 4th) had paint coming off on 2 panels and a screw that was not centred on the 3rd one which created a bump on the panel. This meant that Hammonds furniture had to come back , replace the 3 panels. My husband and I are both self employed. We had to take an unplanned day off, this also meant removing the bed ( dismantling) , clearing the wardrobe and clearing the bedroom . On top of this the return date had been booked for march 7th ( february 16th) but I had an email on March 1st to inform me that they would come on March 3rdI. I turned to hammonds for a goodwill gesture on my final payment, for the inconvenience and the last minute change of date. All my requests via my account were ignored. I wrote to the Head office and had a phone call 2 weeks later . It was a " no" ," you won t get compensation as the work has been completed within 30 days" ( I could not see this in the T&Cs) I forgot to say that all this work had been planed to happen and finish before February 24th when my new carpet was going to be fitted. This was an added inconvenience as the carpet had been newly fitted when they had to come back to rectify the panels. I also had a bad experience where during a telephone conversation between the surveyor ( who was next to me) and the other person ( that I won t name), where the person on the other end swore as he was not happy I was making some changes ( although I was told at the very beginning that this was OK and could change things before or during the surveyor s visit ). I chose not to make a formal complaint around this incident as the service had been very good. I still addressed this issue to Lindsay as a feedback who was very understanding. Basically, excellent service when everything goes as planned but not so understanding and responsive when mistakes happen.
