First I'd like to like say that the room itself is huge and airy and ideally located in Clifton. However I was somewhat astounded that upon arrival that there was a so called kitchenette in the room with no sink to wash up any crockery, I have never seen this in all my years of travelling and staying in B&B's. In the description on the web it details a continental breakfast is provided which is extremely misleading as you end making your own breakfast. Yes a loaf of bread , already opened milk and fruit juice, cereals, teas and coffees were provided aswell as some jams in fridge (also had been opened half full) and what's more a few slabs of butter had been put into a butter dish and had not re-frigerated. The plates stack up after use and this could be very unhygienic in the summer. The shower room which looked like it had been added to the room was clean but there were no mixer taps and you end up scalding your hands and the shower unit was very basic and there no water pressure at all and the water albeit trickled out of the shower head which was very disappointing as it's nice to have a powerful shower in the morning. This is a real shame as the amenities did not live up to the grandeur of the room.
