Very underwhelming . We visited on a Sunday (mid morning) hoping for brunch, it soon transpired the kitchen wasnt open and they were only serving pastries etc from the counter and the usual range of teas & coffees. We ordered a couple of pastries (almond croissant and pecan bun) and a sausage roll. All were reasonably nice but clearly had not been made the same day. Coffee was good. The service was distinctly average, in fact the person who brought us our coffees was downright grumpy (didnt bother to ask whos drink was whos, just plonked them down on the table). The feel of the place - in contrast to a few years ago - is grubby and needs cleaning and redecorating. Had the sense that its living off its reputation somewhat.
