I would thoroughly recommend The House Design and Build. They helped us transform our small kitchen into our now unrecognizable, dream kitchen and living space. For example, recommending a beautiful ceiling lantern which means we now have an abundance of light. Without Sammis creativity and passion for work, we would not have been able to achieve this! I do not usually write reviews, good or otherwise, but the service we received from this architect is worthy of recognition. The local authority were not easy, but this guy took them on and was great at driving through his really imaginative design, a design and which everyone was so impressed with. A pleasure to do business with and supportive throughout the entire process. A really great guy.

Sammi was great to work with. He took the time to really listen to what we wanted from our extension and incorporated all kinds of clever and simple ideas into his plans to give us a really workable and beautiful finished space. He is always quick to respond to questions and coordinated seemlessly with planning control and the builder. We love our 'new' house and have received loads of compliments from visitors as well. Highly recommend Sammi and The House Design and Build.

Sammi was great from start to finish. He sat with us to fully understand what we were hoping to achieve, explained what was possible and made positive suggestions on how our thoughts could be enhanced. He helped us through the planning process, calmly dealing with a tricky neighbour and was supportive throughout the build. I have and would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends.

We bought a semi derelict one bedroomed cottage in a rural plot in South Wales and commissioned Sammi to help design an extension and manage the planning process. He listened to our ideas, added some of his own and produced a design that we loved. Initially the planners were minded to reject our application as they thought our hew home was to big but Sammis knowledge of the planning rules soon got us through that one. This was particularly impressive as he was working with a planning authority he had no personal experience of and being Welsh had different rules and regulations to those in England. Plans later changed to demolition and new build. Sammi took this in his stride and the plans were amended accordingly to an eco-friendly SIPS house. Sammi gave us lots of valuable advice and pointed us to trusted suppliers he had worked with before. He was always friendly, helpful and patient and we wouldnt hesitate in using him again or recommending him to others. Thank you Sammi Paul & Lorraine
