I have had the pleasure of working with Ascent Architecture on a number of projects and have always been delighted with their work. Steve has a finely tuned eye for detail and is always a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended.

Ascent Architecture managed to create two desirable flats from within my large mixed use building and obtain planning approval, despite various planning challenges. I found Steve great to deal with, solving problems, clearly describing issues as they arose, and keeping me posted throughout. I would highly recommend them!

Their drawings have always been of a very high standard with incredible detail and have been a pleasure to build from. As the principle designer on various projects, we have found Ascent Architecture easy to communicate with and always quick to respond to any queries we may have. We recently returned to Ascent Architecture having previously used them 12 years ago for a house extension and ground floor remodelling of our Victorian end-of-terrace. This time the brief was for a new ber double garage/party barn with garden-facing sun lounge with sedum roof to the rear. Also, a loft conversion and first floor remodelling. For years we had been stumped trying to imagine how we could get the restricted hipped-end loft space to work and give us worthwhile space. Also, how to maintain access to the first-floor rear bedroom and without compromising the first-floor layout. The designs that Steve & co. came up with were amazing: the huge garage is everything we wanted and the sun lounge is a perfect space for unwinding in the warmth of the afternoon sun, overlooking the garden. To the house they managed to magic two very large rooms and an en suite from the second floor, and by the masterstroke of running the new loft staircase alongside the party wall, minimised compromise to the first-floor bedrooms. All this while sympathetically respecting the Edwardian character of the property. They guided us expertly through the entire process, resulting in highly detailed Building Regulations drawings that our builder was able to accurately price and build from. We couldnt be happier with the result. Fantastic architects that we would have no hesitation in recommending.
