Undertook design and planning application for a garden studio, listening to my needs and wishes and producing a fist class design which has worked well over 3 years since completion. She produced a versatile and useful multifunctional space, maximising internal dimensions. Her communication skills are excellent. I thoroughly recommend Lizzie and EJ Studio.

I am currently mid-way through the build stage for my project; a compact, sustainable, 2 bedroom new-build dwelling within a conservation area in a sensitive heritage location. I purchased an old commercial unit without planning. Having reached out to several architects, I decided to instruct EJ Studio; their presentation, vision and attention to detail far outshone the competitors I approached. EJ Studio then set about designing the property, attained change of use and planning first time round, produced construction drawings and a full tender pack, helped in setting-up the project with a builder, and have been providing ongoing advice throughout the current build stage. They have always been available for consultation and reassurance throughout the whole process. Lizzie is clearly passionate about architecture and offered plenty of design ideas, material/product options and solutions to problems along the way, whilst also listening carefully to what I wanted for the project and taking this on board. An incredible eye for detail, I highly recommend EJ Studio.

Our requirement was a bit unusual as we needed to fit a new structure onto the rear of the house without compromising existing windows, and to create a novel and dramatic structure with wow factor whilst transforming the overall look of the rear elevation. Where two previous architects had failed to find a solution that we liked, Lizzie took us through a layered process that ultimately delivered an exciting and unique solution. Through this, she developed a good understanding of what we were trying to achieve and we are delighted with the resulting scheme. Lizzie provided an excellent drawings pack that our builders rate as the best they have seen, and was highly effective at working through detail with us and the builders and key suppliers to ensure no issues or surprises as the build progressed. The final result certainly met and exceeded our expectations. Strongly recommend.
