Had a lovely meal at the Cavendish Arms today with my 3 sisters. Very good value and the service was excellent looking forward to my next visit.

I came here with my husband a while ago and really enjoyed it. So for a family special occasion I suggested here. Unfortunately we were left a little disappointed. My two sons and my husband ordered the mix grill kebab and considering the massive price difference from the rest of the menu at 22.95 they were expecting something substantial. However when it arrived it was one kebab skewer of meat with a small piece of flatbread and a few fries. Very mediocre and only worth half the price, if that! The service was very slow too. Bit upset really as I wanted it to live up to how I had sold it to everyone , but we were all left feeling deflated. Wont be returning any time soon. Dont mind paying for good food and forgetting reasonable portions, but dont appreciate being ripped off!
