Bonhead Productions / First Dance Discos provided the DJ for our wedding. The light setup was amazing! Unfortunately the DJ wasn't: we had provided him with a playlist of song ideas (and explicitly told him this was just to give him an idea of the kind of music we like), which consistent of randomly mixed genres. He just played the playlist, which made for very akward genre changes. At some point we had to start making song suggestions so he'd play songs that fit the mood.

Had these guys for my wedding in Bristol in April and they were fantastic. Played everything we asked and some great extras like mine and Sioban's name in lights for our first dance.

Bonehead weddings provided the disco for my daughters wedding. Julian was incredibly helpful in the build up to the big day and on the evening our dj was just amazing!! More importantly my daughter and new son-in-law were just over the moon with this fantastic night. All of our guests have been raving about it, best wedding ever!!

We've used Daz & Bonehead Productions a number of times for family functions/events and each time they've been outstanding. Helpful, dedicated and professional from start to finish. We recently had Daz at a party and he was fantastic. He played a great mix of music that had everyone dancing right to the very end - he played everything from Let it Go for the younger members of the family to Playing with Knives for the ravers among us, to Motown classics for my Nan! He was happy to take requests which kept everyone on the dance floor. Highly recommended!

I had 'Daz' as a dj for my birthday (who was not my preferred choice but was available) so went with it as was told by the company he was more mature but experienced and more than happy to accommodate our wishes .... Daz did not add much sparkle to my night. I found him arrogant and although he said he would happily take requests when he was asked for certain songs/artists they were ignored. He had his own agenda which went from Take That straight into Whitney Houston (!!?) not indicative to dance floor fillers .... As it was a birthday I was surprised to find myself and my husband having to do a 'first dance' while everyone stood and watched (hello - it wasn't a wedding ... Silently died inside)!! And to top it off .. Just when Daz finally decided to play tunes to get people dancing it stopped - literally just stopped. At 11.45 when he was due to start winding up to finish the music stopped - my guests were left standing on the dance floor with 'is he joking' and 'has he just finished' questions being asked. Next thing the set was being dismantled and they were gone. I would not recommend Daz although Bonehead as a company were professional and efficient ... I was left feeling disappointed with what could have quite easily been a purely brilliant night :-(
