We needed a like-for-like replacement on a rather 'non-standard' window our listed cottage. I approached a number of good firms, but felt that Martin really understood what was required and we quickly developed a very good rapport. One of the things that really clinched it for me was that prior to making the new window, Martin called me asking if he could come round again to double check the measurements. Martin kept me in the loop throughout the whole process and when he came to fit the window, he was customarily punctual, professional and always personable. Martin does not cut any corners and carries out the job to his own high standards. The new window looks super. Finding good craftsmen who offer great service at a fair price is increasingly hard and Martin is one of very few who has made it on to my phone contacts book! Service: General window replacement

We chose Kirkman Joinery to replace our custom arched window after looking at their testimonials and a discussion with Martin the owner. We felt he was very professional and cared about his work - which was very true. The price was not the cheapest but close, but we needed a high quality solution., which was fully delivered. Martin visited the site to make templates and provided sample colours for us to match. He was very helpful in making sure everything was right for us. The installed product was amazing, fitted perfectly and very high quality. The finishing touches were very important to them. We are exceedingly pleased and the new window has made our bedroom quieter and far more insulated while providing a beautiful wooden arched window to frame the view. We are delighted with 4 new windows made to replace the rotting ones on our cottage. Martin and the team also made a patio door to go from our house into the conservatory. They suggested Parliament hinges so the doors fold right back. Perfect for summer and so much light in a dark sitting room. The service has been excellent from the first contact. We had a trip to see the workshop and meet Martin. Martin and Lee came to do the survey then Lee came back to fit. He did an excellent job, was quiet, efficient and creative when faced with the problems presented by past bodged builders. We would thoroughly recommend them.
