We did the introduction to wine tasting course Tuesday evening and absolutely loved it. Jonny was an excellent, relaxed and friendly tutor who made everyone feel at ease and the content was fascinating. I really understand why I like the wines that do now and what I can be looking out for in new ones.

I can not speak highly enough of the knowledge, approach and support, Jonny gives to his students. I have just finished my WSET level 3 and I have loved every minute of it. Thanks, Jonny for another great course.

Another really interesting and enjoyable evening hosted by Jonny. A good group of 8 people and a great range of wines to try and learn about. I have done a few of the evenings and courses over the past 8 or 9 years and it has really helped my wine choices. Would highly recommend.

I did the WSET Level 2 online, with the exam in person at the Sussex Wine School. I have also attended tasting events here. All very well organised, interesting and challenging, with faultless admin. I did the course purely out of interest in wine and wine-tasting and I certainly learned a lot during a very enjoyable course. Our group was a mix of people who, just like me, were doing it for fun, and others who were doing it as part of a vocational requirement. The course involved 8 online sessions of approx 2 hours spread over 8 weeks, with a reasonable amount of self-study using the excellent materials provided. The exam is a multiple-choice paper, which was also a learning experience (it being about 35 years since I had last done an exam of any kind!). I plan to continue the learning when my work commitments allow this - possibly WSET Level 3 or one of the Wine Scholar courses. The tasting evenings and lunches - separate to the WSET course - are also great fun. Jonny is very knowledgeable and makes everyone feel comfortable around the subject of wine, which I know can be intimidating for some. I strongly recommend the Sussex Wine School as the place to go if you want to learn more about wine!
