Tora Baker Wedding Photography

Tora was fantastic, from start to finish. We weren't really sure what we wanted when we started looking at wedding photographers, all we knew is that we wanted really natural photos, of people having a great time. I came across Tora and her photos were exactly what were were after. We had an engagement shoot with her, which we were initially nervous about, but she put us totally at ease and we ended up having a great day on the beach. When it came to the day, Tora captured our day perfectly, with some really lovely moments. She was so supportive throughout the whole process, I couldn't recommend her highly enough! x

When I first spoke to Tora about taking our wedding photos I was initially quite nervous about what I wanted for our big day. I knew that I didn't want conventional shots that can sometimes seem a bit staged but I knew that we had to have photos! Me and my partner really wanted the photos to capture what we were like as people and for them to reflect our love of friends, family and music. As we were getting married in October we knew we were taking a chance with the weather and at one point I was really worried that guests might not be able to make it! Our wedding was also on a tight budget and again I really wanted the photos to reflect the effort that our friends and family had made. I really shouldn't have worried. The photos are everything we could have wished for and more. There are lots of candid shots where the guests look so natural and happy. Our friends and family look relaxed, which is how I wanted them to feel. Tora did not make the guests feel forced to pose for photos, everyone treated her as a guest and that's exactly how I wanted her to feel. You would also have never guessed that that particular day was the stormiest day of the year so far! I had researched lots of pub weddings and really wanted to capture that laid back feel, where everyone just has a good time, with none of the formalities that some weddings have and again Tora achieved that. Our daughter was our number one guest and Tora captured her beautifully, both as number one bridesmaid and simply as an 8 year old at a party! And of course, our love of music. The photos of our disco are amazing, it sometimes feels like I'm looking at someone else's wedding, I love them! The children DJing was a particular highlight of the night! I really can't thank Tora enough for everything she did that day and have already recommended her for 2 other weddings! Her standard of photography seems to increase with every shoot and I feel proud that we were her first wedding! Thanks again Tora XXX
