So happy with our wedding photos! Being quite camera shy, I was quite nervous but Mike made everyone feel so relaxed and the photos show this. Didn't even notice him at times and the results are just amazing, such natural pictures and he captured all the little details and emotions of the day. Speedy turnaround receiving our wedding pictures and great service throughout. Highly recommend :)

Michael shot photos for our wedding last year. He was relaxed and unobtrusive, working hard throughout the day, and took lots of high quality photos capturing precious moments from the occasion. Competitively priced too - I would recommend!

We hired Mike to take photos for us on our wedding day Sept 2021. The initial communications were ok, but he did need chasing, we agreed a contract, paid our monies and he arrived on the day. Pleasant chap, very charismatic and all seemed well. Until the deadline to deliver our photos expired. The reason for the delay, his son was ill, and his computer broke, and his father was ill. We said we understood and offered an alternative resolution and deadlines. This was ignored and the photos eventually arrived in three download files late. My wife looked at them and had a tear in her eye, and not because she liked them, I got very upset also. Out of focus, poorly framed, many shot from the hip and not edited at all as we agreed in our contract. We took independent photography advice from two award winning photographers, and they agreed with our thoughts on the poor quality. We ask for our money back and didnt hear anything. We issued a CCJ (County Court Judgement) and detailed 12 points as to why we felt we were due a refund, including stating less than 10% of the photos were of use. This CCJ has been upheld by the court and we are now starting recovering proceedings. When we checked his website, we didnt find a trading address, when we checked the contract, his address was absent as well. Your wedding is special..we wished we had checked the smaller details better. Look for photographers with memberships to professional photographic bodies, none of them had heard of Mike also, we checked! As I leave this review, we still have not heard from Mike hence the review. Poor Mike, very poor.

Michael was fantastic. He gave us a really reasonable price given his experience and expertise. He communicated well with us beforehand which was important as we were coming from another country to get married. On the day he turned up exactly as promised. He was unobtrusive and professional, and was very conscious of not being too visible or noisy. He had almost no requirements from us (unlike some of the photographers we enquired with who seemed to want three course dinners and various perks!!) - and was very focused on the job. The pictures we received were beautiful. Everybody who has seen them loves them! Most of them are natural type shots - which we love - and are a great reminder and story of the day, but he was also happy to do all the more formal shots in the church with families etc. After the wedding and editing, he sent us all the pictures. Unfortunately after a few months I lost the saved versions because I had a computer problem. I emailed him more in hope rather than expectation and I was really impressed that he not only responded, but was able to send us copies of our photos!! I would thoroughly recommend him to anybody getting married and we were thrilled with the service and photos. We are very pleased with the photos we got for our wedding. Michael was rarely seen throughout the day, blending perfectly into the background, and yet he has managed to capture the day brilliantly. I was pleasantly surprised how he managed to get the ceremony pictures from so many angles because I can't recall seeing him move around at all! Unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side, being an October wedding, but Michael found us a few areas at our venue to get some outside shots - and luckily we had a wonderful staircase that allowed us to take the group shots we required - and there were a lot of them with the multiple family group set-ups that I wanted. Thank you Michael for your work on the day and for getting the photos to us promptly within the 3 week time-frame promised.
