I am sad to say this, as Terre a Terre has long been my favourite restaurant in Brighton, but it has gone down in standard markedly, and now does not measure up to the newer establishments that have opened nearby. The menu and the decor now seem dated, unimaginative and unexciting - very different to when we first came here a few years ago. I hope Terre a Terre manages take a look at its current competition and make the necessary changes so that it is once again the undisputed best vegetarian restaurant in Brighton.

I love Terre a terre but sadly on this occasion I wasnt impressed and left hungry. Portions were tiny. One slice of bread with whipped butter for 8.95. Come on, flour pot deliver to my restaurant, Im aware of their bakery prices and this is a rip off! Food was ok but too salty. For a Tuesday evening it was dead, the service was sluggish, I chose not to pay service charge which I would never usually do as I work in hospitality myself. I really hope this is just a blip and next time will be much better.

Give it a miss. Pretentious veggie/vegan food without substance. Attempting multicultural cuisine without nailing any of them. The tapas platter completely misses the point; is neither tapas (50), nor a tasting menu. Just a cold, tasteless mashup. The place looks like a neglected Costa coffee. Not surprised they lost their Michelin. Hope they get out of the way for a better restaurant to make better use of the local.
