Strafford self drive

Excellent service!! I am a traveler and I travel a lot using rental cars and long road trips. I have used almost every other rental company and I used Strafford last couple Of times. Excellent service they provides very good people I worked with euon and he is professional. They have given me very good 17 seater van with excellent condition that made my Scotland road trip memorable more than 2000 miles of road trip and vehicle they provided was reliable. I will keep hiring from them and must recommend others to visit them

We rented a 9 seater for 4 days. Our experience was appalling. They gave us a mini bus that had a broken start stop, a faulty 3rd gear and no air conditioning in middle of summer. To make things worse there were only 2 windows (driver and front passenger) . The car was a moving greenhouse. Traveling for almost 4 hours on the motorway meant that we couldn't open the windows either way and with no aircon it was a disaster. It seems they didn't check the car before they rented to us? Either way I would not recommend their services to anyone. We paid almost 500 pounds for 4 days plus another 1000 deposit for a car that barely qualifies. I would not rent from strafford self drive again given the chance. Thier only redeeming factor was Emily at the front desk, she was professional and understanding, but that only goes so far (2 star rating instead of a well deserved one star.) If you want a good driving experience look elsewhere.
