Physio: Kevin Finn Kevin has been Excellent, had been bothered by Achilles issues on and off for a couple of years but chose to book an appointment after a period where I had been in pain for several months that was consistently worsening despite having been seen by another physio in person. Kevin gave a really structured programme with not just exercises to do but a structure of when to do them as well as what not to do, which I had never previously considered, and also day to day modifications. Within a week or 2 my baseline pain had massively reduced and having completed the programme I am now pain free and back to running. Now just need to build the lost fitness back up! Can't thank Kevin enough, very impressed.

I dont even know where to begin. I fractured my anterior/lateral malleolus which resulted in a bone spur. I had surgery to get the spur removed and started PT with a local practice in my area. Long story short, they didnt do a great job which led me to Barry. Since working with him, Ive made a drastic improvement in my recovery. Barry was straight forward and extremely analytical. I appreciated his intentionality with my programming as well as his transparency on what my future looks like moving forward. We worked together remotely for 2-3 months (mind you I live in the U.S.) and I still got a lot of value out of our sessions. I am a parkour athlete so Im sure Ill be back at some point, hopefully not soon. If youre seeing this, thank you, Barry!

I just wanted to give you some feedback: having myself been at the 'tools' with patients in my past life, its always great to get positive feedback! In a nutshell, the glut strengthening exercises you prescribed, I have been following them faithfully. The improvement has been incredible- from just a single consult and 2 pieces of theraband. The wasting in my right gluteus maximus complex has also resolved to some extent too ( as one would expect) So I am now able to walk consistently, every day, without pain. I do not get sudden pain episodes that stop me and come without warning. I only now occasionally ( ? 1-2 times a week) take NSAIDs to sleep and never codeine containing S4 type drugs. Yes, I still cannot tie my shoelaces on my right foot normally- but the range of movement just compared to last March is impressive. I sleep pain free and now regularly sleep on my right ( affected) side. The change from such a seemingly small intervention has been amazing. Worth posting online....an online consult is not as despearate as it sounds: this intervention has been more significant than every other one to date, all 'live' and including the dreaded orthopaedic surgoens who always need to 'do' Something....

Found your website one night after having been prescribed a boot to immobilize my achillas tendon which by this point had been swollen and hurting for 2 1/2 months. I wore the boot for a few hours enough to know this wasn't working and thankfully came across your website. I watched several videos and knew what you were saying as to how to heal my achillas tendon made more sense than anything I had experienced with my health care plan. As soon as I started following the treatment Barry gave me things started moving forward. Barry was great to work with, replied quickly to any additional questions I had and reinforced that if I experienced pain I was to back off and contact him. Each meeting the exercises progressed and as time went on the swelling and the soreness got better. Had my last session with him last week and I feel that I am well on my way to a very good recovery and will continue the exercises as he suggested. I can't begin to thank him enough for his help because before I found your site and booked an appointment with him, I was feeling I wasn't going to recover and might end up having surgery! I hope this review will enourage others who feel frustrated with lack of progress to look into booking an appointment and get started down the road to recovery! By the way I'm 73 so never give up! Thanks again so very much Barry! Leslie Galvan
