Do not use this insurance company! My son had an accident abroad and had to have stitches and local anaesthetic, we completed the claims form when home sent everything off got told the money will be in my bank between 7-10 working days I rang after it had past these amount of days I got told they have a large amount of claims to get through and it should be in at the end of the week, I then rang a week later to get told the same they are now not answering there phones or emails the phones also cut off after a few rings.

AVOID at all costs. DO NOT take insurance out with these. Despite numerous emails I am still waiting for a refund after my son took ill on holiday and was in hospital for 2 days. This has been 7 weeks now. I am in the process of taking legal action. Richard Warburton (CEO)

Why I cannot leave 0 stars. Been trying to sort out a claim for two months now, communication zero, no answers to phonecalls and receiving payment reminders regarding my daughter's care. Appalling!

I wish I could give this company zero stars. 5 months on and 20k out of pocket still after having to pay for emergency operation whilst on holiday. Please if you read this do not purchase your travel insurance from Mayday (or Evra). Had to sort everything myself. Zero help with the additional bills for the hospital stay, additional hotel accommodation, no food or drink, no help with flights home, nothing nada zilch. What is the point of insurance if they do not help???

So if I could put zero stars I would! Our dad is critically ill in Greece! No support or help never returning our calls or emails. Keep calling the wrong people even when I said who is next of kin. Our father finally was referred to a private hospital and then got turned away! Now no one is answering any of his very worried family.
