Metrica were brilliant! From reaching out on LinkedIn, getting in touch to find out what my skills were and what I wanted for a job. Metrica posed a number of jobs to me, to which I applied to the ones I valued most, including my current dream job. From setting up the interviews, to guiding me with interview preparation and sorting out the offer; I wouldnt be where I am right now without them! Daniel was fantastic throughout the whole application process. He was clear with expectations and expected timelines for different stages of the recruitment process and was always on hand to answer any questions that I had. Even when he was on annual leave and Tom took over, the quality of assistance wasn't sacrificed and I felt thoroughly supported throughout assessments and interviews that I had to complete in the run up to receiving an offer!

Both times I've used this agency I had a very negative experience. The first time the recruiter hounded me on Whatsapp at all hours to accept an offer I'd said I didn't want, and pestered me for references. Her manager also tried to convince me to take the job with reasons like "the team has worked at top consultancies like BCG"....OK. Who cares? The second time I very clearly said I wanted a job with lots of stats and ML, good work-life balance and using R/Python. The recruiter completely lied and I turned down another role to accept this one. It was actually very basic repetitive analytics using SQL/Excel (the tiny bit of ML was point-and-click) at a high-pressure agency with 30% staff turnover - needless to say I left within 3 months, contacted the company I'd turned down and am now in my dream job. One of the other roles he put me forward for was a start-up that explicitly told me there was no stats at all and they work long hours! They don't listen to what you want, the jobs on their site are fake as you apply for one but never hear about it again - instead they put you forward for whatever rubbish they need to fill, then lie and hound you to take it. I've worked with other recruiters that don't pressure you to accept offers and actually listen to your requirements. Avoid this awful company.
