Trust is everything when you have to seek help for your teenage child. Lukas earned our family's trust 100%. He helped us through a very challenging period of our life, by being professional, reliable, precise and kind. He takes communication with the family very seriously, keeps you in the loop but also respects boundaries. I approached Lukas to access psychotherapy for my 10 year old son. Covid, lockdown and a difficult year had left him really struggling, low in mood and appeared to have no interest in life. Lukas was so willing and professional from the start. We met as a three and Lukas undertook various assessments and questionnaires to establish the best approach to supporting my son. My son connected instantly with Lukas and attended 12 sessions. They explored a range of things including our family, support systems and how my son could manage his feelings in the future. Lukas respected my son's confidentiality but also had a session with me as his mum to review how things were going. My son benefited greatly from his sessions with Lukas and I am so pleased his mood lifted, his interest in life returned and he was able to have a safe space to process the impact of covid and the lockdown. Lukas was brilliant and I would highly recommend him as a therapist for any child or adolescent.
