Been using Sussex Block Management for over a year now and were very happy with the service provided. Jodie is an excellent communicator and very efficient. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a management company.

Sussex Block Management are a well run, efficient, business that is professional in it's operations. I would highly recommend them. They communicate at the right level and have managed building works and issues without fault.

I have lived in my flat for 25 years and during that time we have had 4 different managing agents. We have just asked SBM to take over the management, which they did in October 22. As one of the directors of the block of flats, I had rung about 10 agents in total before trying to make a decision on which agent to choose, which turned out to be an easy process, as it was Jodie who instantly stood out from the crowd. Rather than just tell me her fees, she went to the trouble of selling her business and telling me what they offer unlike the rest and asked questions about our current situation, which I would expect. There were many reasons why l was attracted to this company Their fees are competitive They just specialise in block management, no sales, or lettings, so can focus on the job we require them to do They visit the block each month, I have seen Jodie several times on site already assessing the site along with her husband They provide emergency out of hours assistance Have 40 years experience in the business between them In the 2 years that they have owned their own company are award winning and since having taken over our block have been nominated AGAIN Dont charge VAT Appear to be a small well managed firm rather than one of these larger companies who are happy to ditch you at the drop of a hat regardless of whether major work is due to commence or not especially if it causes them too much work, which is what happened to us. They appear to be focussed on quality not quantity and take a real pride in their work Jodie realises the importance of reserve funds Jodie is happy for our contractors to be used and also happy to recommend Jodie was happy to have a face-to-face meet before we signed up just to be sure she knew what she could potentially be taking on. Jodie has immediately picked up the pieces from where we left off with our last agent and is just getting on with the job, which includes major work I like her efficiency, professionalism, knowledge and no-nonsense approach, she is a true businesswoman Its good to have a good working relationship with your agent and in the short time that they have been ours, I definitely feel that this is the case and will be the case.
