    Unresponsive, manipulative, untrustworthy. I stayed in a Houst-managed flat in London with broken wifi. Called and emailed them twice, both times they were apologetic but didn't fix it. The second time, they actually told me the previous guest had told them it was broken, they had even ordered a new wifi router and it was sitting right there in the flat but they hadn't found anyone to set it up yet. Great... After I left, I got a message from Houst offering a 20% refund on account of the broken wifi. Very decent of them, I thought. Turns out they just wanted to manipulate my review and had no intention of going through with the refund. After that they accused me of losing the keys to the flat, which I definitely did not do, as cover for reneging. Best case scenario, they are so disorganized they can't get a wifi router fixed and manage to lose house keys which were left in plain sight. Worst case scenario, they are deliberately misleading customers and potentially opening their hosts to court claims.
