Called for emergency plumber as boiler not working so stuck with no hot water or heating. Paid 230 for someone to attend BEFORE 10pm. I fully understand sometimes people can run late but no message left for us and no one turned up by 10.45pm so I then started calling them. In total I called 25 times and no answer or details to contact an on call number (even though website says its open 24 hours) Left voice messages etc, no call back, we felt completely let down. I called up to midnight, freezing and tired then gave up. I called first thing in morning and spoke with the same person who booked the appointment in and took the money, I explained what happened and they had no idea why no one turned up, they offered to refund me or resend someone but I said hell no I wanted the refund! Refund has been received without hassle but it would have been nice to be advised of what happened. Or even better dont book someone in that cannot be reliable at least to call the customer to update with cancellations or delays rather than a no show
