Just changed to this pharmacy. The loveliest staff ever. They wrote out what I needed to say to my doctor on the phone with all the tricky lingo which was really helpful as I am dyslexic. So happy I moved to this one, much calmer then Lewis Road which was an hour waiting time - which doesn't work with my busy work life.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Rude customer service. Unprofessional. Expired medication. Visited Elm Grove Chemist on 02/04/22. The Pharmacist working, was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Despite them making an error, no apology was given by her. My repeat prescription was sent to the chemist on 11/03/22. On 18/03/22 I went to collect the second weekly prescription, they told me they did not have it and that I should contact my doctors surgery. My GPs surgery called the chemist and they confirmed that my prescription was in stock and would be ready for collection. Eventually after having a break in my medication (which Im not supposed too) I was able to get the prescription. Now going forward to today, after my GPS surgery had to contact them again on 24th or 25th of March, as my prescription wasnt available - again. I was advised that it would be ready for collection from 31/03/22. I went to collect it and was told they could only give me 2 tablets (one dose). The pharmacist repeatedly stated that they didnt have the medication because they only knew of my prescription request from yesterday (01/04/22) however this was not true! I was reduced to tears, due to the pharmacists rudeness and nonchalant attitude towards this situation. I have since had 3 sudden breaks in this medication, which has made me terribly ill and had a detrimental effect on my mental health. Its such a shame that mental health issues, arent taken seriously. Another lady working gave me my prescription to go to another chemist. She was apologetic and polite, however her colleague had upset me greatly. * I do not recommend this chemist and I will never use it again. * Please also be aware that on 3 occasions, this chemist has also attempted to give customers expired medication. Another customer in the chemist was also complaining about this issue today. The nicer lady working of the two, has said that she will open an investigation and this will be sent to head office. So I really do hope that that is the case!
