Bone Idol

Took my miniature wire haired Daschund to be hand stripped and was super happy with the results. Ben did a brilliant job and she came out looking like a super model. We will be back :

Ive been bringing my dogs here for a few years now. They love the toy box and treats they get spoilt with. My Scottie has such a perfect cut we get stopped and asked where I take him. The staff are always professional and friendly. Ive already booked their next session including a teeth clean.

My dog has been here 3 times. Twice they have shaved him so close to his skin. The second time they cut his eyelashes when we asked them not to. The first time they shaved him was after a long bout of illness so his fur was quite long and matted, so was unavoidable really as hes a poodle mix. The second time they shaved him he was no where near that level at all. I myself could run a comb through his fur and brush out his coat. Since then he has not been himself at all, barely playing and trembling off and on. And he has a nick on his skin that was not there before. We are taking him to the vets to make sure he is ok. The guy that did the most recent groom doesnt seem like he likes dogs (or people) at all. My dog hates going there which I should have paid attention to as he never did that at his old groomer. We were walking my dog yesterday in a park and another dog owner remarked (unprompted) on how short his coat was, and said he bets Bone Idol did that. Clearly their reputation precedes them. Seems they care more about a quick turnaround than the well-being of the dog. I will never go back and would warn other dog owners to be wary if you have a dog with a complex coat.

I go here occasionally if I run out of things for my dog & one day I was in there a a gentleman who obviously worked their shouting at me tell me to control my dog, needles to say for a dog shop who sells dog and other pet products not so friendly in my opinion
