Absolutely superb service from Nathan and Otis at Brighton Millets today. My camping light is about 20 years old and suddenly stopped working. It's a really good, sturdy light and I was loathe to just throw it out. I took it to a DIY shop and two other camping shops and in every shop, the assistants just looked at it and said "dunno". At Millets, Nathan and Otis took my request seriously. They took the light apart, checked the bulb and batteries and cleaned up the connections. Nathan said "I hate giving up!" so he didn't. He found the loose connection and got the light working again. The connection is still a bit hit-and-miss so I bought a new light anyway (Hi-Gear, looks robust and reliable) and am keeping the old one as a spare. I am extremely impressed by Nathan and Otis's determination to get my light working. We live in a throwaway culture and should try to fix things before binning them! FIVE STARS AND MANY THANKS TO BOTH!!!

Great shop and I had a superb customer service experience for me recently. I bought some gloves online that arrived but they were too small it was impossible to get them replaced before Christmas! I visited the Burgess Hill store to see if I could find others and to see if they could help. Unfortunately, they didn't have the size I needed in the style and make I was after BUT they were very helpful & kind and offered to ring around the stores to try and locate what I needed. After some retail wizardry on the system, they located my product in the Brighton store, they called them to confirm and were able to reserve them for me. I collected them the following day and I am extremely happy. Thank you to everyone involved at both stores, it's this type of customer service that makes such a difference and differentiates you from other retailers and builds customer loyalty - especially from me. Thank you!
