I attended Sussex Back Pain Clinic on the advice of my Osteopath. My symptoms had increased from mild lower back ache to increased discomfort spreading to Sciatica pain down my thigh and calf. Walking or standing for more than five minutes was unbearable and medication was being sought at an increasing rate. Armed with my MRI scan, Sussex Back Pain Clinic diagnosed a Prolapsed Disc and IDD Therapy was recommended after a thorough consultation. Initial apprehensions were dispelled as soon as I began my first IDD session. I was made to feel at ease and the whole experience was positive and remained so throughout my entire treatment. Interspersed were rehabilitation sessions that were tailored to my abilities and requirements. These were adjusted and reviewed throughout, being taught patiently and clearly without judgement. The transformation that not only myself, but others have noticed in me has been truly amazing. I can honestly say that I never thought in just three months I would feel so much better. I no longer take medication and have a better understanding of what I need to do to ensure I remain in good health. I found the staff at Sussex Back pain Clinic very professional and approachable. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

A big thank you to Steve Morris and the team from Sussex Back Pain Clinic in Hove. When I met Steve I had a severe sciatica and bulging disk I was unable to walk unaided. I needed 2 walking sticks to be able to attend my assessment. On the assessment Steve assured me that he was able to help me with my condition and it will take approximately 20 IDD treatments and some physio therapy( which I had with Will) On my 8th appointment I was able to walk in unaided without any walking sticks and no pain whatsoever. Although I finished my initial course of treatment Ive opted for some extra sessions for the next few weeks at 2 week intervals just for peace of mind. The IDD treatment at Sussex back pain clinic has been a great success for me. I would highly recommend it to anyone with back problems. Many thanks to the whole team.

After finishing a massive garden building project last week I thought I had done some serious damage to my back. I went straight to Sussex Back Pain Clinic as the team there had helped me through a serious and debilitating back injury 10 years ago. Steve was very reassuring and after the treatment explained clearly what was going on. I left feeling both comfortable and confident and would recommend anyone with back trouble to see the team there! Thanks again SBPC. Sue, West Sussex

The personal attention I received from my initial assessment with the clinical director right through to the IDD technicians care was first class. The follow up appointments with the Movement Rehab Trainer were tailored for my needs and helped get me on the road to recovery.

Really disappointed with my whole experience here. Upon establishing contact, I made them aware that a MRI had identified that I had a bulging disc. I was set up on a 4 session treatment plan and informed I would have a review after this to discuss the next steps. This review never happened and I attended 15 appointments at a total cost of 900. Sadly I am not any better than when I began treatment. I understand medical treatments are never a given but I feel like I have been thoroughly unsupported due to being informed during the 13th appointment that they felt we had been approaching this whole thing wrong. I subsequently attended a movement rehabilitation session which I feel was of no real benefit. Never the less, I attended it and awaited contact which I was advised would be made within 2 days - 11 days later I am yet to receive an update. I feel like I have been financially exploited. Each time I ask a question, I feel as if I am given an answer which does not directly answer the question I had asked - one could call it a politicians response!
